Ed’s Easy Diner, a taste of the American 50’s in contemporary London.
After walking miles over miles visiting London’s marvelous sites, or simply after an intense shopping day, Ed’s Easy Diner is a necessary stop!
You absolutely can’t miss this incredible American 50’s style diner. Either you decide to eat sitting on the chromed stools at the counter, or more comfortably on the red couches watching through the wide window walls, just like in a Hopper painting, a good hamburger is guaranteed.
The first Ed’s opens in the heart of Soho in the 80’s and today we can find four of them in London and many other all around the UK.Hamburgers (also vegetarian ones!), hot dogs, fries, milk shakes, are all classics on Ed’s menu, and I personally could never have enough of:
• The “Big Bubba’s bacon n’cheese”, everything in ‘The Original’ with Ed’s Diner Sauce, plus sweet-cured bacon and American cheese.
• Served with a side of “bacon & cheese fries”, French fries covered with melted cheese and crispy bacon.
• And to put the cherry on top, an “Ed’s double flavor shake”, a divine milk shake, rigorously banana and peanut butter.
At Ed’s your meal will be accompanied by pure Rock’n’Roll, on the counter you’ll find some small juke-boxes with the classics of the 50’s; unluckily now they are only ornamental, but the same playlist is played in the diner with more contemporary methods.
The diners are very welcoming, the staff is friendly and the good music is never missing, after you’ve eaten at Ed’s, you won’t be able to stop yourself from coming back.
